Konica & Vik : Blush Coastal Perfection

image

This stunning coastal soiree was one of our absolute FAVORITE weddings of the year for a plethora of reasons.  We designed everything about this wedding from the linen and chairs to the lighting and layout and are oh-so-proud!  We wanted to create a bit of a unique flare within a very traditional and romantic setting.

image

Konica carried a gorgeous, cascading bouquet of white phalaenopsis orchid stems and Vik matched in a single orchid bloom finished in a clean black satin ribbon wrapping.

image

Konica chose to wear a custom made modern twist on a traditional Indian sari and chose complimenting pink saris for her bridesmaids.  They carried beautiful blush and ivory bouquets with soft blue succulent pops.

The mother of the bride and groom each carried a mini ivory bouquet of spray roses.

imageimage

San Diego’s beautiful coast was the backdrop for the beautiful Scripps Seaside Forum ceremony.  The ceremony took place in between two stunning centerpieces placed atop our glamorous crystal candelabras and ivory pedestals.  A whimsical swirling formation was created down the length of the aisle with ivory rose petals.

imageimageimageimage

The fun, unique gift table was created with three sandblasted mazanita branches adorned with dainty ivory orchid blooms and placed within distressed ivory wood boxes.

image

Glittering with elegance, the reception was created against a beautifully draped backdrop done by the fabulous Concepts Event Design team.  A mixture of two centerpiece types were placed atop round and square tables, soaked in candlelight and delicate lace detailing.

imageimage

Tall crystal candelabras placed atop mirrored surfaces were topped with dripping ivory and soft blush florals filled with hydrangea, roses and orchids.  Candlelight of varying heights was placed around the centerpieces and complimented by votives.

Short, square table centerpieces were created using distressed ivory wood framed boxes filled with a flat pave of ivory and blush blooms and tall mercury glass candle holders of varying sizes.  A square mirrored top was placed under centerpieces to amplify the candlelight.  Our delicate lace runners were placed down the length of the tables.

imageimageimage

A white lacquer banquet table with glittering accenting (provided by Concepts Event Design) was used for the the bride and groom topped with multiple long centerpieces and a mirrored runner.

imageimageimageimage

We created a unique outdoor atmosphere with the use of white lounge furniture and hanging chinese lanterns in varying colors.  We installed lights in each lantern so the mood became more romantic as the sun went down.

A special thank you to the INCREDIBLY talented Braja Mandala of Mandala Weddings for capturing the day flawlessly!

Sarah & Austin : Vibrant Love at a Lavender Farm

It would be a terrible thing to keep this stunning, detail-infused soiree from the world so here we are to SHARE IT with you!  We had the pleasure of working together with the FABULOUS and design-savvy ladies at Couture Events to put this beautiful day together.  This lovely wedding was recently featured in the Ruffled blog, click here to see the entire Ruffled post and learn more about every juicy detail!

Sarah chose a wild, colorful and highly textured bouquet complete with colors ranging from orange to fuchsia.  The free-flowing bouquet was finished in a vintage gold double faced satin ribbon with the stem neatly showing at the bottom.

Sarah had the amazing idea to have each bridesmaid carry a unique floral in a color to match their shoes.

Centerpieces varied in size and color but texture was  a constant theme throughout the reception.  We created long distressed ivory boxes to hold these densely packed, vibrant floral arrangements holding over 15 types of flowers that were spread down the banquet tables.  These detailed florals were separated by unique and eclectic milk glass vessels filled with unique flower combinations.  Florals were placed atop a gorgeous chevron sequin table runner that complimented the gold chiavari chairs.

Pearl & Matt : Old World Elegance

Not only a beautiful and sweet couple, this duo had SERIOUSLY great style and was very involved in our design process from start to finish.  We worked with a great team including the talented Gina Hundley of, San Diego Weddings by Gina, Orange Turtle Photography and Pamplemousse Grille among others!

Nothing is more romantic than a fragrant bouquet made completely of fluffy and creamy ivory peonies!!!  The beautiful bouquet was finished in a unique wrapping of satin, lace, pearls and a bit of glittering rhinestones.

GLAMOUR poured from every corner of the beautiful Swarovski crystal-studded courtyard reception.  Taking place at the beautiful San Diego Museum of Art, the scene was a sophisticated mixture of old world romance and modern elegance.  Pearl and Matt dined under our dramatic and gorgeous ivory canopy, DRIPPING in blooms and crystal strands.

Soft and delicate centerpieces were created from ivory and blush blooms with grey accents placed upon our stunning silver stands.

A big thank you to Orange Turtle Photography for capturing the night and each detail so perfectly, great job!

Mara & Kyle : Soft Beachfront Beauty

Romance surrounded Mara and Kyle on their big day- complete with sun, fun and ocean views!  See the feature of this wedding on Style Me Pretty by clicking here

The beautiful couple chose a soft color palette of blush, ivory and grey.  Mara wore a fragrant gardenia in her hair and chose a soft, vintage bouquet of textured garden roses, stock and spray roses finished in a romantically dripping bow.

The bridesmaids wore soft blush gowns and held blush blooms to match.

The gorgeous ceremony took place on the terrace of the beach-front L’Auberge Hotel in Del Mar.  Our beautiful ivory canopy, complete with our glamorous crystal chandelier, was draped around the top and sides to not obstruct the stunning ocean views.  The aisle was lined in delicate ivory rose petals, our ivory and silver lanterns adorned with blush blooms.

The simply understated reception was created with soft grey linens and white chiavari chairs.  Ivory lanterns were surrounded by blush blooms placed in bud vases and ivory ceramic urn vases contained fluffy ivory and blush florals with pops of soft grey detailing.

Each place setting contained a blush rose bloom.

The stunningly detailed dessert station was created to perfection by the talented Alison Sansom, of L’Auberge Del Mar.

Guests took home fun glasses as favors.
